For this brief moment in our lives, our paths are crossing to achieve a common goal. You are in search of an incredible backyard living space and stumbled upon HL Posey, who claims they’re the best at creating and building them. So, I don’t have to guess that the reason you're here “ is to find out why we are qualified to make your dreams come true.”

I need to get this part out of the way before I can get to the good stuff.  I am Henry Posey; I, along with my wife Laurie, own and operate HL Posey Builders. HL Posey was officially created in February of 2007. Laurie has had a career in the residential construction industry, from high-end custom homes to track building, and mastered every aspect of the office from design to director of purchasing for a national builder. My first day was on September 11, 2001. I’ve built upwards of 1,000 homes, almost as many rehabs, remodels, and additions, worked land development, managed a dozen other guys building homes, and I am a State Certified Building Contractor. (You should now feel very comfortable in our hands). 

We put all that time in just to prepare ourselves to meet you and share with you what we love to do most – design and build backyard hangouts. We’ve learned over time that life is about our relationships.  I believe that my purpose is to positively affect the lives of as many people as possible.

We treat everyone the same—our associates, the freight truck driver, our neighbors, the Publix cashier…everyone. We treat you just like family. Literally. If we love something, we tell you. If we don’t like it, we tell you. We do our best to avoid rude and mean people—it doesn’t mean they’re bad people, just bad for business. We have fun.

Your backyard hangout is just an outcome of our relationship. From the time we meet the ride begins and the show starts, the creation of your outdoor living experience will be our first big win together.
